Our coworkers Arkady Sloza and Ruslana Kovalchuk are grateful to God that Zhanna Vasilyevna Falko Public Institution principal of “Klevan special school #1of I-III degrees” of Rivne Regional Council assisted to conduct school-based training courses for teachers on “Techniques and strategies of behavioral therapy. Functional communication for visually impaired children” on October 26-27, 2021.
The main speaker was Theresa Cianciolo, PhD in Neuropsychology, behaviorist from East Albany, Vermont, USA. The participants were grateful for her sharing with them her educational experience, knowledge, useful web resources, literature and other helpful tools for working with the children.
Due to sanitary and epidemiological requirements, some of the event participants worked on remote. 12 hours flew by interestingly and meaningfully. After reviewing the work of the staff of the special school, Dr. Teresa appreciated the hospitality and thanked for the warm Welcome. She presented her listeners with certificates and gifts.
