From July 28 to August 3, the All-Ukrainian teachers’ camp “True Faith” was held. By the grace of God, more than 70 participants gathered (51 teachers and 20 children) from the cities of Sumy, Poltava, Fastiv, Odesa, Konotop, Rivne, Zdolbuniv, Kivertsi.

The teachers attended the seminar “Loving God and your neighbor is the essence of true faith.” During five sessions, they studied two commandments: love your God and love your neighbor. They also learned how obedience to these commandments can change not only our lives, but also the lives of those around us.
During the morning worship service, the teachers shared their experience in teaching Christian ethics in schools.

Teachers’ feedback about the camp:
“It is a great blessing from God to go to a Christian camp, to immerse ourselves in this friendly, warm atmosphere again, to meet with familiar people and to communicate with new people. Thank you for the beautiful and profound seminar “Loving God and your neighbor is the essence of true faith.” Thank you that during the seminar the presenters actively involved the audience in discussing God’s truths, asked very wise questions and encouraged logical reflection and the search for answers. God’s law, His most important commandment “Love your God and love your neighbor” was revealed to me in a new way. Of course, our time at the thermal waters was very good, too” (Nataliya Ch., Rivne);

“This is my first time at such a camp. My expectations were fulfilled. I “ate” plenty of spiritual food: studying according to the manual, which encouraged me to find practical application of the Word of God, deep and instructive sermons, exchange of teachers’ experiences. I love meeting new people: it’s like a new book with its own story. Various tasks for the teams contributed to a better understanding of each other. It is so nice to be in a circle of Christians in the same spirit.
Everything was wonderful for the body too, especially the water procedures. Contemplating the beautiful nature gave flowers to my souls. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to rest at least for a while from the noises of war, so that I can serve in God’s field with renewed strength” (Galyna L., Fastiv).

Thank God for holding the camps.
Pray that the sown seed of Truth will fall on the good soil of hearts and bear abundant fruit for the glory of God and for our joy.
