Shortly after the start of the new academic year, our mission staff members Arkadii Slyoza and Ruslana Kovalchuk were invited to present an evangelistic art exhibition titled “The Life of Jesus Christ in Art” in the town of Dubrovytsia—the heart of the Rivne Polissia region.
On September 19, the Gospel message resounded at the Roman Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist in Dubrovytsia. The exhibition was visited by parishioners, children and teenagers, as well as staff from the Ministry of Social Welfare and the Community Resilience Center.
Tourists from Kyiv, who were traveling across Ukraine and “happened” to visit the church at that very moment, also took an interest in the paintings. While they were initially drawn to the building as an architectural landmark, God—in a remarkable way—ensured they heard the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.

That same evening, the exhibition was displayed at the Evangelical Baptist Church in the village of Berezhky, Dubrovytsia district. Ruslana Kovalchuk’s insightful presentation on the history behind the featured paintings helped the audience view the Savior’s earthly journey in a new light and reflect on their own walk with the Lord.

On the morning of September 23, the exhibition visited the lyceum in the village of Berezhky.
Later that afternoon, it was visited by students from Lyceum No. 4 in the city of Sarny who attend the second shift.

The students not only heard the Word of God but also received it as a gift. Arkadiy Slyoza offered spiritual literature to anyone interested, enabling everyone to delve even deeper into the Holy Scriptures and find words of encouragement, hope, and strength.

May the Lord bless all who listen and accept God’s Word!
