It has already become a tradition to organize a banquet on Friday night in the program of the missionary conference.
Missioners share their testimonies, God’s children praise the Lord and pray about the nations. This year, Alexander Ilyin, the pastor of a developing evangelical church in Warsaw, shared the testimony of God’s work. Ilyins arrived at the conference with the whole family: wife Irina, daughters Sonya and Olya, and even little Karolya. After graduating from the School of Biblical preaching Alexander decided to serve the labor migrants from the Slavic countries who are unreached by the Gospel. He himself believed through street evangelism when he came to Poland to work. In Catholic Poland, in fact, there is a great need for preaching the Gospel. Alexander shares the Gospel, preaches, leads home groups, organizes Christian seminars, develops ministry in Polish.
Even more unusual fate God has prepared for brother Yaroslav. After the treatment for a serious illness in Italy, he and his wife and daughter decided to return and serve tens of thousands of Russian-speaking labor migrants from the countries of the former USSR. With a great dedication, Yaroslav preaches and builds the church, working hard on the night shift to provide for the family. Now he is the pastor of a small young church in the city of Caserta near Naples, is engaged in the ministry of a children’s club. The conference participants also listened to the testimony of a missionary about their ministry to the Turkic peoples.
The holiday was decorated in the Ukrainian folk style, there were also dishes of national cuisine of the peoples, representatives of which were present at the conference.
