Dear brothers and sisters, dear praying friends and workers in God’s field!

We invite you to join our joy and share with you about what God has done in February and March 2013! Let’s pray together, so His name will be glorified.

Be blessed our God because everything is from You, by You, and for You!

 Great God

By God’s mercy, the first Christian winter youth camp took place in Zalissja, Rivne region. Thirty young people from Rivne and Zdolbuniv, believers and unbelievers, were studying the character of our great God for three days. They studied about His rule, His holiness, and His mercy. The well-prepared building kept us from getting cold, and the Zdolbuniv kitchen kept us full and satisfied.

The summer is ahead of us, so we want to ask you to pray about upcoming youth camps in Zalissja. Especially, pray about truth to transform young people’s lives.

Biblical counseling

The fifth academic session of Rivne School of Bible Preaching (SBP) for the second group of students took place in Chernivtsi.t he session lasted 9 days. The pastors Taras Prystupa (Rivne, Ukraine) and Veniamin Portanskij (Vancouver, USA) taught on the topic “Biblical counseling.” The course “The Basis of Biblical Counseling” gave the fundamentals, showed the reason for counseling, and gave practical advice of what to advice people in different life circumstances. There were 29 students and 5 free attendants at the session.

The last academic session is ahead of us, so we ask you to pray about graduation of the current group and the beginning of studies for the new group of students in September 2013.

Academic session of RBC “Word of Grace”

From the 27th  of February until the 8th of March, the winter academic session of Rivne Bible College “Word of Grace” took place. This session was dedicated to the study of the course “Systematic theology,” which was taught by Nikolaj Nikitin. This course teaches fundamental doctrines of Christianity. Doctrines about God, sin, the Bible, and salvation became more clear, systemized, and useful.

Pray about this academic group and their upcoming academic session, that will take place in May. Pray about teachers, so that grace strengthen them for the future ministry in education.

The Gospel to the Plastun organization

On Saturday, the 9th of March, the Lord gave us an opportunity to visit a small seminar of the youth organization “Plast” in Zalissja, Rivne region. This is the Ukrainian scouts’ organization, which works on the building of the  patriotic bringing up of Ukrainian youth based on Christian morals. They invited us to share the view of our church and organization regarding alcohol use.

We accepted this invitation and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the participants.

Pray so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will become the basis of their moral for these people.

I want to learn about the world.

Under such a logo, the first issue of 2013 of Christian magazine “Word to the Teacher” has been printed. Regardless of some complications with printing, God is merciful to us in this ministry. We hope that the materials presented in the magazine will bring spiritual help to many readers, and become a good tool for Christian influence on a new generation.

Please pray about it with us and about the preparation of the second issue.

 Armenia for Christ

Our coworkers in Armenia are not sitting still. God keeps open “the door of salvation” until God’s entire  family will get on the “ark of salvation.” The new young church in Yerevan continues to grow. In the end of February, the church had a three day winter camp, at which church members divided into small groups, and the worship time is on Sundays now. Besides that, the college “Ararat” had an academic session in February and sessions on the course “Program to help the preacher.”

Armenian Christians are very thankful for support and ask to continue praying for them.

 We play for God

During the last week of March, a Christian soccer competition took place on the territory of mission “Hope to People.” Preached Gospel, prayer, and a friendly and honest atmosphere made it different from other soccer events which take place in our world. Boys were not only trying to get earthly trophies, but heard about the One who gained us heavenly treasure.

Pray for participants not to remain just listenersbut to be changed for the glory of Christ and join the localchurches.

 God bless you!
