During trips to the cities and villages affected by the earthquake together with brothers from Ukraine and brothers from the Turkmen Church, our minister in Turkey built friendly relationships with the residents of the village of O. About fifteen thousand Uzbeks live in that area, who moved toTurkey from Afghanistan about thirty years ago. With one of them, our minister often communicates over the phone, and constantly corresponds with him by email. So he asks our brother to come and visit him again. On the next trip, he will bring audio players with the Gospel in Uzbek to his new friends.

Recently, a Christian Uzbek family came to visit our ministers and help them in the ministry. They hoped that they would get visas and that they would work here together. But they were refused, and they left. Of course, the missionaries were upset about it, but it didn’t happen by accident – it was the will of the Father. Please continue to pray for the team that serves the Uyghurs and Uzbeks!

From time to time, our brother goes to the neighborhood where Uighurs live. There are people with whom he has been communicating for a long time and now he gradually begins to share the gospel and the parables of Jesus Christ with them. Many of them invite him over to their homes, and sometimes he is even offered to stay overnight. A lot of Muslims ask deep questions, and to give them an answer, you have to start explaining from the very beginning, and that takes time and effort. A conversation on various topics from the Scriptures can go on until late at night. A missionary often feels strong physical fatigue, but he is always happy at every opportunity to testify about Christ.

Please pray for all our brother’s friends and acquaintances, that the Lord may win them for the Kingdom of God. The seed has been sown, much has been said, it remains only to rely on the work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts.
