Your awareness of current events as well as prayers are very important in the cause of building the Kingdom of God. Thank you for sticking with us!

Armenia

Thank God that our ministers, who were diagnosed with the coronavirus and were asking our prayers, have already recovered. Food packages continue to be served to unbelieving families who have lost their jobs for a long time, as well as to the handicapped and widows. Such visits of our ministers are a good occasion for evangelism and prayers for the souls of these people. The whole last month, services were held online (even one wedding). Brothers and sisters need our prayers for the tension in the country due to the aggravation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

Yakutia

Praise the Lord for the baptism that took place in June! We rejoice and thank God for the new souls who have joined the church. Pray for the small groups of believers in the hard-to-reach settlements of Yakutia, as well as for all those to whom our ministers preached this winter. Due to quarantine and the impossibility to get to the villages in the summertime, the family of our ministers returned home. Pray for the opportunity to return to Yakutia in the fall of next year to continue God’s work among the peoples of the North.

Ministry in the Middle East

Thank you to all who pray for the media service to the peoples of the Middle East. Missionaries cannot come to the Middle East, but through the Internet it is possible to reach many hearts! Over the past two months, God has helped build a mini-studio in Ukraine, where Christian programs are being broadcast. One ministered said, “People in countries that are closed to the gospel need such programs to learn how to walk with God.” There are many thirsty souls in the Middle East. Pray that Christians in the East and the West will take advantage of this golden age to share with everyone about God and salvation in Jesus Christ.

Let’s Support Christian Ethics at School!

Thanks to the joint efforts of many and the dedicated work of our employees, the subject “Fundamentals of Christian Ethics” was introduced in educational institutions of Ukraine. This summer, a commission at the Ministry of Education, that approved Christian ethics programs and textbooks, was disbanded. To draw public attention to the problem, an all-Ukrainian online marathon in support of Christian ethics was initiated from July 28 to October 4. Everyone can express their support for teaching Christian ethics at school through a photo, video or message. The materials will be posted on the magazine’s website and on the #ХристиянськійЕтиціБути social media.

Ministry to Orphans

Due to quarantine, for the first time, our ministers are holding two camps for orphans of different ages online. Unfortunately, our brothers and sisters from the Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, USA, who were coming every year, will not be able to be with us physically, but we can still feel their presence alongside us as they are lifting up their prayers for us on the daily basis. They also made sure that the orphans in the camp would receive their food packages. Ukrainian churches have also taken an active part in providing social assistance and are prayerfully participating in this ministry. We are grateful to each one of you, for upholding our hands in this work! Please pray for the salvation of children and for the families who would like to adopt them.

Rivne Bible College

Please pray for a new student enrollment to study at the Rivne Bible College Word of Grace! The first session is scheduled for the second half of November 2020. The entire training lasts two years. Students should come to the session three times a year. Usually, they are taught by practicing ministers, and have an opportunity to actively study the Word of God. During the classes, they are given a homework to read sound and meaningful books, and they get to experience an interesting and rewarding church practice. To learn more about getting into the college, please write a letter to: e-mail rbkrovno@gmail.com
