Ministry in Central Asia

A family of Ukrainian ministers is sending their sincere greetings and thanks to all who pray for them. The family will soon depart to a neighboring country for a  three-week-missionary trip. They used to serve there before. Their intention is to visit all the groups that had started as a result of a Christian family ministry, to support local believers with the Word and instructions, to help them organize ministry and work with families as well as counseling.

Uyghur Ministry

The Lord is blessing Brother B. in a new place in the new country. By God’s mercy, his family has received a permission to stay in the country. Now they are doing their best to learn the language, they get acquainted with local churches, try to participate in different ministries of a local evangelical community. Brother B. gets involved in the worship ministry and attends men’s meetings and his wife comes to ladies’ fellowships…

Arabic Ministry

Our mission’s staff member is a pastor at an Arabic church in one of the cities in Ukraine. Before the war, many people heard the Good News in their native Arabic language in this church. We believe that the Lord brought them to a Christian church for a purpose. Rafi had been developing media ministry in Arabic through the You Tube. Then he had to leave his mini studio and move to a safer region of Ukraine to protect his family. Please pray that this ministry will continue! Ministry in Armenia

Our co-workers in God’s field keep working in Yerevan, in the villages of Nshavan, Kakhratsshen, Dehtsut, and visit other towns and villages in Armenia. From the beginning of pandemics, Sevak and Nina Parvaryan began serving needy families and soon they added people who had suffered from the military conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. Ministry to the Kurds and Yazidi as well as the Assyrian people is going on.  Brothers Araik, Karo, Sevak continue visiting families from these traditionally non-Christian nations…

Ministry in Warsaw

Our brother Oleksandr Illin and God’s Grace church in Warsaw work hard helping refugees from Ukraine. At first they settled people in a building which they rent from the Polish church: it had a kitchen, a bedroom, people, pets and so the building owners lacked a place for worship. Oleksandr often arranged stay for people who asked to spend a night somewhere and then they moved further to other parts of Europe…

This Year Trip to Yakutia Has Ended

It took brothers Andriy and Ivan three weeks to get to the place of service in an SUV. On the way there they visited 4 rehabilitation centers, attended worships in several churches where they sang and testified about Christ, God’s grace and salvation, and found new friends and prayer partners. They spent two weeks in a small town in Yakutia which has a church community, but needs a permanent minister. During that time 10 people took a course on foundation of faith and some repented. Along with Yakut brothers and sisters, they visited many houses and “lost” Evenk and Dolgan villages in the Arctic where God showed His miracles.

Christian Ethics: Theory and Practice

Klevan special boarding school, where our staff member Ruslana Kovalchuk teaches Christian Ethics, has accepted refugees from Severodonetsk and Berdyansk temporarily (72 people). Every week the Hope to People staff take humanitarian aid and groceries there. When they meet refugees, they tell them about life and share the Gospel. People pay attention to what they say and ask questions. During one of such trips on the 15th of April, they brought and showed the exhibition of copies of famous artists on the life of Jesus Christ which was dedicated to the Resurrection week.

Ruslana Kovalchuk teaches Christian Ethics online and she often calls her students on telephone to talk to them. She keeps a contact with teachers from Sumy, Poltava, Kryvy Rig and other regions.

Education Ministry in a New Way

The main directions of the Hope to People ministry during the war are the following: evacuation of refugees from the war zone, giving people counseling, and sharing the Gospel. Our brothers who coordinate ministry of the Rivne Bible College and the Christian Ethics department Vyacheslav Arterchuk and Arkadiy Slyoza along with other brothers from the church have had several dangerous and tiring trips to rescue and bring civilians from the war zone. At first they went to Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, then Kamyansk in Dnipro region where the refugees from Mariupol come through Zaporizhya, as well as from Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. They took humanitarian aid there: drinking water, food, medicine, clothes, fuel, etc.
