“Nadiya” Is on Summer Break

Due to the quarantine, CSC Nadiya decided to take some time off from practice and go on vacation, although it has happened earlier than it was planned. The boys really missed each other, as well as the Bible lessons and soccer itself! So the coaches decided to conduct Bible lessons online, and it turned out to be a very productive time!

Also this summer, the team participants had a joint trip to Zhorany’s resort. And this year, the trip was sort of unusual, because instead of a youth group, we had a group of young people who have families and small children who were also with us! As we were getting together for corporate devotions there, we got to consider the topic of worship.

Also, our coach, Oleksandr Honchar, along with the boys had a chance to go on a tour of cultural and historical castles of Ukraine, which allowed them to have a great time together in an informal atmosphere.

We’re thankful to God for the continuation of this ministry. Please pray for the boys who show up just to play soccer at the beginning, but still have an opportunity to hear the Gospel at every practice. Please pray for the coaches, so they all would be faithful in this cause!
