Have you ever felt yourself thankful, exhausted, happy and sorry at the same time? I have such feelings when a camp ends.

I am grateful for all your prayers about this camp. We expected that it would be a camp for families with children who have disabilities. It turned out that they didn’t come, that’s why we invited everybody, as it happened in the parable about the wedding feast. Nevertheless we had 34 people in the camp. All of them were families with children and adolescents that we know from previous camps, but for the most part they do not believe in Jesus. This camp was a great place where we could communicate and talk about faith. I am grateful to God that He brought these families to us. They really need a healthy Christian fellowship and encouragement to take a decisive step in faith and accept Christ. I am also grateful that Our Father has gathered a wonderful team that showed Him during these 4 days through words and their lives. God blessed us with an abundant Word both in the morning and in the evening, which often ended with long discussions, reflections and songs for the glory of God.

We had wonderful cooks, full of love to us and patience with each other. Everything was very tasty and there was plenty of food. The team consisted of servants who love this people with all of their hearts and who are ready to spend time with children and adults, play games, do handicrafts and discuss serious topics. I’m grateful to the Almighty who kept us safe on the way back and forth, and gave the strength to our driver. I am especially grateful to everyone who supported us through prayers and finances during this time, we felt your care and support on a distance.

Each day brought us challenges and problems, but only with the help of the love of God that covers everything, we could have wisdom to solve them. Sometimes we felt like giving up and did not have strength, but as it is written in Isaiah 40:31 “but they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength.” Many of us have already taken part in several camps before this one, so we were a little tired. Some were ready to stay at home but when we arrived there and saw the smiles of children and teenagers, all the fatigue disappeared. God gave us new strength to serve Him!

Being there and communicating with this people we were glad to see small changes in the understanding of the Gospel and the sacrifice of Christ. It was especially joyful to sing together the songs for the glory of God in their native language. It is so beautiful! I also feel happy when I can do something with the children and see that they can cope with it and enjoy the results. We had such an opportunity there. Every day we did handicrafts with children and played wet games. Doing exactly what God wants and wherever He wants brings a real joy.

And then in the end we were very sad to leave because they need support and encouragement so much. Many of them have no one to talk to about what they read in the Scripture or pray and this camp was a great blessing for them.

Pray for this people who live in the south and do not know about the Savior. Pray for the servants who share the Word of Truth with them. They are few and they don’t have enough resources, but their hearts are full of love. We know that nothing is impossible for our Heavenly Father. Pray that He would send even more servants there. Pray that the doors to this people would not be closed to us, and that the seed that was sown would bear fruit when the time comes.
