Under this name, department of Christian ethics of Hope to People held a camp for children aged 12-14, on July 14-20. The topic of the camp was based on the Book of Jonah.

The team of Christian ethics is mainly focused on the study of the Word with children and educators of Ukraine. With God’s help, the employees of the department prepared and conducted a Christian camp for children in a picturesque part of Ukraine – the village of Polyana, Carpathian region.

37 children from Klevan and Tuchyn orphanages and Rivne regional center of social and psychological rehabilitation for minors (Alexandria village) came to the camp.

The main purpose of the camp was to share with the children about God and His Word – to show the greatness and beauty of God’s creation, to show them love, the source of which is the Lord Himself, and to teach biblical truths that would help them to find a way out of difficult life situations.

Despite many difficulties and trials, God worked in the hearts of all, both adults (He taught us to love others) and children (exposing their sins and leading them to repentance!). Many children sincerely glorified God with the songs as they eagerly studied the Word of God and as a result, the Holy Spirit led to the repentance boys and girls (4 boys and 4 girls prayed the sinners’ prayer). We pray for God’s guidance in their life!

For many children, the Christian camp is the beginning of a new phase in their lives, and in these camps, we saw how God, the Holy Spirit, worked with young hearts, calling them to give their lives to the Lord.
