Camp for the students of 15-18 years from orphanages on “How to Make the Right Choice that You Will not Regret?” took place in the Carpathian village of Polyana on July 21-27, 2021.
God brought to this camp 39 young men and women from Klevan, Tuchyn, Verba, Mizots orphanages and the Rivne regional center of social and psychological rehabilitation for minors (Alexandria village, Rivne region).
The Word of God was preached daily in the camps – at Bible classes and during corporate worships as we were singing a lot of songs to praise the Lord. We had a lot of opportunities to fellowship and tried to build relationships with children.
For the first time, we asked Dmytro Tymoschuk, who had previously participated in such camps (he studied at the Verba orphanage) to join the team as a mentor in both camps. Two years ago, he turned to the Lord in the camp but this time, he went to camp as a mentor.
We continue to pray that God will bless all the children in the camps, that after repentance the children will have their spiritual mentors, and that the Lord will lead them to the youth groups in the local churches, so that God may help them build their lives on biblical gospel truths.
