Greetings to you, dear brothers and sisters! Gracious God takes care of His children throughout the earth! We also feel His concern about us – the church of Russian-speaking emigrants in Poland.

By the prayers of the saints, we managed to find a meeting room near the center of Warsaw. Before that, we were considering the options for renting an independent premise from commercial organizations, but alas, so far we cannot afford it. And here it is, three weeks ago, the director of a Christian mission, in which God gave me the opportunity to work as a volunteer a while ago, has agreed to let us in on acceptable terms. It is a cozy and spacious room, equipped with everything we need.

We hope that at the new place we will continue those ministries that we had before. This includes devotional breakfasts for brothers,

Polish evening services on Wednesdays,

as well as free Polish-language courses.

By God’s mercy, this month we resumed the women’s meetings.

Also, there are plans to start new ministries, such as youth and music.

We want to do this having in mind not only our youth, but also to draw unbelievers in this activity. As soon as it gets warmer outside, we plan to start regular street evangelism using the paintings. For this purpose, we already have ten new reproductions of paintings by well-known artists, which depict the life of Jesus Christ. These paintings we received as a gift from our friend Vasily Khripunov, for what we’re deeply thankful to our dear brother!

We try to maintain relations with other churches by taking part in different events. There are festive concerts, visiting of elderly believers, meetings, seminars.

I cannot fail to share with you one more blessing! At the end of January, I again (for the fifth time!) was able to attend the annual missionary conference in Rivne, and at the end of February – the summit of Russian-speaking churches in Europe, in Riga.

In both places, I have experienced unforgettable impressions from the testimonies of many missionaries who work among different people groups and in different countries. The desire of my heart is that our congregation would take a more active part in the great commission of Christ. I ask you too, brothers and sisters, please pray for this!

Lovingly, Yours in Christ, Brother Sasha Ilyin.
