On the January 30th, 2015 has occurred an extended meeting of the editorial board of the Christian magazine “Word to the teacher.” We are just amazed to see how God gives the second breath project. Because of the financial difficulties, the magazine was suppose to close down, but almost at the last moment the National University of “Ostrog’s Academy”, which is represented by the dean of the Faculty of Humanities Professor Vasil Nicolayevich. Zhukovsky has offered its help and support.
Cooperation with the Academy brings out our magazine to the next level in several ways:
– Distribution (they cooperate with all departments of Education and have representatives in the areas that will be able to introduce the magazine);
– Materials (there is a free access to the materials of scientific and practical conferences as well as competitions for “Teacher of the Year”, an opportunity to meet with Christian-scientists to engage the students, to carry out opinion polls, and so on.);
– The impact of the brand “Ostrog’s Academy” on the development of cooperation with various institutions (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, regional offices and departments of education. Academy of Sciences and pedagogical universities).
Of course, there will be some certain changes in the journal. Well, for example, there has been already negotiated a new price – 20 gryvnas. But the biblical foundation and the concept of the magazine remain the same: to make teachers be the disciples of Christ.
At the extended editorial board besides the “old” team (Prystupa T., Bondarchuk A., Dolya N., Filipchuk S., Arterchuk T., Kovalchuk R.) there were representatives of Ostrog’s Academy (Zhukovsky V., Vlasova S.and Mahlyuk V.), brothers-missionaries of Rovno’s evangelical churches Grebenyuk V. and Turchak L., as well as guests from the Cherkasy region. We’ve discussed the organizational issues and topics of the magazine “Word to the teacher” for 2015th. Everyone who was present at this event had the opportunity to speak up regarding the development of the magazine and their personal contribution to its preparation and publication.
Undoubtedly, for the successful implementation of this project, as, indeed all others, necessary constant prayer support, a solid team, financial assistance. We believe that if the Lord wants the magazine continue its ministry, he will provide with all that necessary.
