Youth Learn to Pray

We're giving a special thanks to God for the winter Christian camp geared for graduates of boarding schools and students from dysfunctional families. On January 9-16, a Christian camp was hosted by Second Presbyterian Church of Memphis (USA), and IPO Hope to People. The camp took place in the village of Polyana, Transcarpathian region. This time, God blessed us to meditate on the topic from the book of Psalms: “What Do My Prayers Speak About?”

There were students and graduates of boarding schools from the villages of Alexandria, Verba, Novostav, Klevan, Mizoch, Tuchin of Rivne region and the city of Nikopol. Mostly, there were children from low-income and single-parent families, as well as the orphans.

During the camp, young people had an opportunity to witness and praise God through the songs. Some young men and women, who have already come to know the living God, shared their faith with the other people. Together, we were able to worship God, glorify Him, examine the Psalms, and take stock of our hearts. Hearing the gospel, several young people made the most important decision in their lives — to follow the Lord.

We thank all those who took part in this ministry, praying, giving funds, donating clothing and sports equipment for the Christian camp. Please pray for the young people that the Word of God will yield fruits in their hearts.
