This spring in Ukraine is filled with sorrow and desire to win! We pray and keep serving, trusting our Heavenly Father. We believe that He will guide! Read our news and thank the Lord together with us for His mercy towards all the nations!

With God we will perform valiantly…

Psalms 60:12

Our Workers in Armenia

On the occasion of winter holidays, our brothers and sisters were able to visit many families who they shared the Gospel with and who they prayed together. Some of those families suffered because of the war in Armenia: some lost their loved ones, some were wounded and still receive treatment. Their hearts need the Gospel a lot.

Nagorno-Karabakh is blocked and people are not able to go there or leave. They experience shortage of food and medicine. It’s a very difficult life there. There are our brothers and sisters and they hold on to the Lord and trust Him. Please remember them in your prayers.

Arabic Ministry in Ukraine

Pastor Rafi Issa, a minister at the Arabic Christian Community in Kyiv, holds seminars for students of missionary schools and members of Christian churches, is involved in media ministry at Arabic Christian YouTube channel, translates Christian literature, and preaches on the streets.

The church meets together on Sunday and during the weekdays he meets with the Arabs and Ukrainians at the markets, hands out humanitarians food aid. We are thankful to God for the help from different churches to get these grocery sets.

Ministry to Ukrainian Military Men

Workers of our mission Vyacheslav Arterchuk and Arkadiy Slyoza along with the chaplains and volunteers from the churches in Rivne and Khmelnytsk regions have had several trips to the east to support our warriors who fight near Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Vuhledar.

They had an honor to serve six different units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Word and gifts.

The military men are thankful for your prayers, support, and blessings.

Ministry to the Victims in Kherson Region

In March, three young brothers from local churches in Rivne, Vitaliy Bakunets, Georgiy Mykhaylov, and Andriy Katela, had a trip to the deoccupied Kherson region to deliver humanitarian aid, to meet people, share their grief, and comfort them with the Gospel.

Their first destination was a village which had been occupied for 7 months. The village head shared horrible and at the same time wonderful stories about what was going on there. She stood for her village and sometimes was so brave that later she was afraid she might be killed for her words and actions. Thankfully, the Lord kept her safe and when the brothers testified about Christ, gave her the New Testament, and prayed for her, she was crying and thanked for visiting her.

Baptism at the Community of Good Shepherd, Rivne

Worship at the Rivne Bible Missionary church Community of Good Shepherd was especially joyful and festive on March 5th. Five people joined the church, having made a covenant with the Lord through holy water baptism. Despite cool spring weather, the baptism took place outside. Senior pastor of the church Taras Prystupa performed the baptism.

Since people of different age, gender, marital status, and occupation were baptized, they had different stories how they came to God: through small groups ministry, help to refugees, floorball club, personal evangelism, etc. But the common thing they all had was the fact that the Holy Spirit once touched their hearts with the Word of grace and showed their sinfulness and the need in salvation and showed the only way through the acceptance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the son of God.

We pray that these new Christians will grow strong in the Lord and be faithful witnesses at any place by His power.

Preaching the Gospel through the Art

Exhibition of the reproductions of famous painters works on Life of Jesus Christ has been a powerful tool for information and sharing the Gospel for many years. Workers of the Christian mission Hope to People have been using it. During the excursion the visitors can travel through the New Testament pages and hear the Good News.

During February and March, our workers Ruslana Kovalchuk, Arkadiy Slyoza, and Mykola Nikitin were able to show the exhibition at several educational institutions of Rivne region.
